i want to change up my hair and try out the scene hair because i think it looks absolutely gorgeous on every person that i've seen it on so far, i just have a problem about getting it done..what do i ask the hair stylist to do?..do i just ask her/him for a scene hair cut? haha i have no clue, because i dont want to walk in and be clueless as to what to say i want done.

Everyone's interpretation of labels are different, so I would just lose the "give me scene please" question when you go to your stylist. Print out the pictures you could see yourself having elements of. Like, if you like the way this gal's hair is dyed, or if you like that gal's bangs, and get a selection of pictures with elements that you LIKE. Then, instead of asking for "scene" (because I would consider what your link had as more emo ish) Show the stylist exactly what you like, and they'll give it to you.

RE: don't be embarassed about bringing in what you want. I did it just three days ago, and eveyone was like "man that's smart, why didn't I do that" in the background... quite funny. :)

some hair dressers know it as 'the rockstar' you could try that and if they have never heard of it, then you could just bring in pictures, just go to photobucket and type in scene hair and there will be TONS. hope i helped!

go to a reputable company be sure to ask how long they have been cutting hair, take plenty of pics.

Definitely take some pictures, but make sure you get hair styles you like with a few different hair types/versions. Not all hair can carry all styles. This will give the stylist a few options to chose from that you know you'll be happy with.

ok, so i go to a place called bishops, but thats in portland oregon and i dont know if were you live has one of thoses, but i have scene hair, and i have gotten it doen at a lot of diffrent places. just tell them you want it super choppy, with disconected layers, and then explain what ever kind if bang you want. i dont know if that help but thats pretty much a scene hair cut, make sure they know how short you actualy want the layers, and thats probly shorter then they will do so you have to watch them, most places will think you are crazy to ask for such a diffrent hair style, but make sure they know exactly what you want, not what they think will look good, cus what most places will give you is some longer layers that arent choppy enogh. so ya have fun! hope that helped a little.

o ya please what ever you do dont expect your hair to look exatly like what ever pic you bring in. because you may end up disaponted.

I've Brought in Pictures like 3 times,

and just to warn,

they never turn out exactly how you want.

but it does give the stylist a better idea of what your talking about.

make sure that you "rehearse" what your gonna say,

it makes it so much easier and it guarentee's you wont forget main details. (: goodluck.
