The usual scene hair?

okay i want scene hair (and i don't care if you don't like it/think it's fake or whatever). I have no desire to be a "scene kid" however i really like the hair.

My hair, as it is right now, is about shoulder length and layered, it is also quite thin.

I know i need to buy extensions however i was wondering how to have the top cut? i'm thinking different length layers, but i would like to be able to show my hairdresser a photo so she understands how i want it.

I also realise if i type in "scene" or anything like that into photobucket i will find lots of images, however i was wondering if anyone could recommend me any pictures...?

Also what products do "scene" girls use to make their hair look poofy yet natural, and i know all about teasing, but i was curious about what hairspray to use after backcombing to keep it correct.

Thanks...

What's scene hair??

The usual scene hair?

What is 'scene' hair and who are 'scene' girls? God I must be getting old.

The usual scene hair?

back combing and puttin hair spray on it . it then lasts longer

The usual scene hair?

ask for really short layers and make sure you SHOW the hairdresser how short you want them otherwise they will make them just look well basically crap! after you've had it cut buy lots of hairspray, any will do really just make sure you don't buy wax as too much will make your hair flat and greasy. Before backcombing the short layers spray the comb with hairspray but don't drench it in it and then after styling spray more hairspray on from above.

Also, if you're unsure about pictures...it may seem a bit stalker like but just have a nose on myspace and get pics from there cos search engines are useless for stuff like this.
