Scene hair styles?

I'm getting my hair cut and i'd like a scene-ish look

my hair is pretty long and i'd like to keep the length, I'm just not sure how to get it layered

help!

Well go with a hair stylist that knows what he or she is doing 1st of all ...Here are some pics of my hair..

The trick is to get the hair on top short and leave the bottom long ...use products from bed head too

ask for shorter layers at he top really choppy and say keep your layers in the back long and that's pretty much it

hm..i think some do know best.

BUT!

not all are "up to date" with all the kickass scene/emo cuts.

maybe try searching up "scene haircuts" or "emo haircuts"

photobucket is good for those things.

but you can also try other sites like,altavista,google,yahoo and other ones.

print out a picture of what you want your hair to look like and show it to the stylist.

or just give them a good idea.
