I want scene hair.. What do i tell the stylist to do?

So my hair is prety basic scene right now.

I have side bangs. And a few front layers.

Its pretty, But i want scene hair. When i tease it, the sides just go limp and fall back down :[

What do i tell the stylist so i can get my hair to go uppp.

I'd just print out the picture and show the stylist. Sometimes words just aren't enough

With any emo hairstyle, male or female, long or short, it should always be started by brushing your hair. After this it depends whether you want a flatter more natural style or a rougher 閳ユ笩pikey閳?style. You may just be styling it wrong. Make sure you straighten it in an outwards direction (not down) and use hairspray. Gelling it than blowdrying it also works. Than, tease it and hairspray it again.

Otherwise, just ask for choppier, shorter layers or, possibly, a 'glam mullet'.

omg i was talking to somebody on myspace who had scene hair like that and i asked hair how does she do her hair and she wrote....:

umm i cut it myself

you straighten it upwards so the roots get used to sticking up

i back comb the underneath

then i use too much hairspray

i dont know if that will help much

you say you wnat shorter layers,at the top nice and choppy and longer at the bottom and you want it all done with a razor take that pic and or any other pic to teh salon ans show them what you want !!!

I suggest showing your hair stylist that photo. Also, you'll need to gel/spray your hair in order for it to look like that at the back. I think all you can do is practice, practice, practice! =)
