Extremely curly scene hair?

My hair is extremely curly. And, most of my friends have scene hair. I think they look wicked awesome, and, I don't really like my hair the way it is. I was just wondering if it's at all possible to have curly scene hair? Here's a pic so you can see what a jungle I'm working with:

ok i really love it curly, normally, i hate curly hair, but it really works for you, it looks better with the curly bangs though, get a couple more layers through your hair, and then get alot of volume through your curls and you could still have a kind of alternative haircut, probably not "scene hair" but it could still be edgy and look good and not totally kill your hair like straightening would

no not really because scene hair has to be pin straight so you can tease it and moose it. plus with curly hair you can't really pull off the layered look

why don't you just straighten your hair? I always straighten my hair and i have curly hair too

Like a young Gena Davis with dark hair. Don't destroy it with this so-called "scene hair." You kids grow out of that junk anyway.

There is nothing wrong with your hair that a good, professional haircut and style wouldn't fix.

Go to a good salon, bring a picture of the hair you want, and ask them to cut it with LOTS of layers for the scene look. And then you'll need to straighten your hair.

If most of your friends have scene hair, then keep yours this way! You'll most definately stand out among them and look more natural. Your hair is beautiful and the scene trend WILL end. Those girls will be stuck with damaged hair and you'll still be the one with the gorgeous curly hair.

I really like your hair the way it is. It looks fine. Trust me, you'll grow out of the whole "scene" stage. Soon enough you're gonna wonder why you even thought it was cool in the first place. I have straight hair, and I curl it all the time. I've grown out of that whole "scene" thing. It'll die out soon, just like the "emo" trend already has. But hey, If you still insist, I suggest you just straighten it. You dont wanna cut it, it'll look ridiculous when it's not straight.
