i was planning to cut my hair this weekend,let me tell you it is extremely long! so now its like getting half way cut.Anyways i want my hair to be layered with side bangs,like scene kids haveeee but without the spike at the back.Yes i have purple streaks so no telling me oh you need to have this or that. Puh-lease im not trying to be a scene kid,i just adore their hair!

Anyways my point is i need tips or step by step on how to take care of that kind of hair.

1)how do they make it so straight

2)how do they take a shower and go out looking so dazzling!

3)do you have to blow dry it after taking a shower? [wethair]

okay, so yah, you definitely need to blow dry it...it builds body and makes it look way healthier and shinier and more manageable

while blow drying it, hang your head upside down for more of that scene body look.

then straighten the hell out of it starting DIRECTLY at the roots (as close as you can possibly get to your scalp)

and take the hair in the straightener up (straight up)

and slightly curve it in towards your head the whole time while pulling it out.

this straightens it and gives it nice *poof* and doesnt make it flip out at the bottoms. but instead it sorta curves in the slitest bit making it look naturally straight

(i hate it when girls *and sometimes boys* dont know how to use their straightening irons.

it looks so poorly done most of the time)

Well. If you want it straight then use a straightening conditioner and straighten your hair after every shower. The thicker your hair the less straight it will be.

Why are people saying she's a poser? She's just asking how to get a hair style that other people have. Just because you like something that belongs to a certain social group doesn't exactally mean you want to be associated with them!

Umm i have scene hair now and i wear extensions.

all i do is straighten my normal hair with a flat iron.

and just tease and some times just push up my hair to make it "messy" and spike some pieces with normal hair spray or gell

oh and short layered hair is good then just add extensions

you can get them off of ebay and people sell them on myspace

1. They use a straightener or brush it alot.

2. Um I don't know what you mean. They style their hair?

3. You can but to make it poofy they do something called backcombing. [do this when hair is about 95% dry] Take hairspray, take a chunk of hair and hairspray it, then hairspray alot at the roots. Take a comb then comb away from your head once, smoothing out the hair, then comb down, towards your head. You need to do this 3-4 times. Do that to the whole TOP layer of your hair then stick in a headband or clip or something. =]

answer to number 2: A lot of time.

Um. Okay, seriously. I have a friend with hair like I think you're talking about, and she uses a straightening iron and hair wax. I think she blow drys it, although I'm not sure. And she has a lot of time.

1. they probably use straightening irons or get their hair rebonded which is usually the case because constant straightening with the iron can get very damaging.

2. dazzling's really subjective. everyone washes their hair differently, with dfferent shampoo/conditioner.. stuff like that. it's up to the individual.

3. if you're drying your hair on the left, place a round core brush under that section of hair and comb it outwards horizontally. the hairdryer just follows the brush. you'll definitely get straight hair. and if it's not straight enough, use the flat iron.

I don't have to, as long as I'm not going anywhere, as it's pretty bushy on it's own. As long as you straighten it when it's dry it's all good.

But if you're looking for immediate gratification, then yes. Blow dry it.
