Scene Hair - The Poofiness. How?

Alright, well. I pretty much love the whole "Scene Hair" thing, [[ Call me a poser here, I don't give a crap :) ]] but I can't figure out one little thing. How in the hell do I get the poofiness to be poofy without it looking like I teased it 5439759043 times? Cause it gets all frizzy-ish [[Obviously]] and so yeah. Are there hair products you would recommend? A certain technique?

[[By the way, I hear Hair Wax would help this, but the waxes I've tried just make my hair feel discusting. Fructis Wax, for example. Good recommendations for wax, anyone?]]

Thanks for your help, in advance. :)
