Okay, well my hair's shoulder length, it's got side bangs with a BIG cowlick, which i'd also like some help with?

I want to know how i can make my hair scene, with spikish type hair at the back, with LOTS of volume in it. Any help?

to add volume you should cut your hair in layers then get cute bangs and put them to the side.. voila!! now you're scene lol the whole spikish ... i don't think that seems too cute.. if you don't like the layers idea try a razor cut or maybe cut you're hair REALLY short likeunder your earlobes and kinda long bangs

You're gonna need a razored cut. Get that done. As for the volume, that's teasing. Add a little harspray, mayb even some root lifter, and you're done. Try searching flix or photobucket for "emo hair" and you'll get plenty of pics.

2. your going to need to go to a hairstylist and tell her what you want.

3. Also go to a drug store, or walmart and buy a couple of products that say volume and hold and see which one is better you could also try mixing a couple of them together.

I Used to be in cosmetology if your going to cut ur hair dont do it yourself and dont let a friend do it for you go to a proffessional even if it costs money.

ok i have found that the best way to get the "scene" look is

take the top layer of your hair or which ever is shortest

then using a comb back-comb the area you want to stand out

back combing is when you comb your hair backwards or the opposite way you normally would

after you have back-combed the section spray the underside with a firm hold hairspray

that will make the layer stand out

you may also want to try using gel

put a small amount on you hand and use it to define the layers by simply scrunching them up

i also to get the poofy look will take my hair and pull it away from my head then spray it will hair spray
