Scene Hair Pics and Teasing help!?

My name Is Jordan. And I am being myself.

I really want scene hair. I think it's cool. I'm not scene, I like the style. I have dark DARK brown hair, almost black. It has no layers. I can cut it myself, but not enough to look messed up when it's not teased and straight.

I would like to tease it.

How do I do it, I'm a teenager, never teased EVER.

How do I cut it and tease it?

The Scene Haircut:

Layer your hair and get it razored. Brown or black with another color in the fringe or back looks great. Blonde with pink streaks in can also be very fetching.

Use hairspray, and stay away from hair gel. Serum is okay, but use it in moderation. Use bow clips, ribbons -- whatever suits you.

Remember to have it poofed! In other words, you'll be using lots of hairspray, and maybe a little backcombing.

Keep in mind that you'll be straightening your hair. Use a hot oil or similar hair treatment weekly, such as Aussie 3 minute miracle, to reduce damage from all the hairspray, straightening, and combing.

Use conditioner every time that you wash your hair.

Use heat protecting serums when you straighten!

To Tease:

First, straighten your hair and all the layers.

Take a section of layers at the crown of your hair and tease and backbrush it. Backbrushing is when you lift up a section of your hair and brush it from the tip towards your head, basically just combing it backwards.

Once you're done backbrushing, spray some hairspray on that section of hair so it won't fall down.

Do this to the rest of your hair except your front, where your bangs are. Be sure to tease it well.

Once your done with all of that, lightly brush all the layers you teased/backbrushed so its not as ratty and tangled.

Spray your whole head lightly with hairspray, and there you go-- scene hair!
