Scene hair helpppp?

I have thick, and totally curly hair. I straighten it every day. (And it doesn't damage my hair) I want something that is scene, but without the hair dye. Something that looks actually GOOD ON THICK hair that is straightened. Nothing above the ears. No hair extensions....GO :D

Hello! I think you better let professionals straighten your hair or there may be future hair damage. Having a hair rebond in the salon maybe a little expensive but it will last you a year.

one think to do with thick curly hair is to defuse it. I love defused hair even though my hair isnt curly, my sisters are. you could also tease it. but it in a ponytail with a pump in the front. when you blowdry it, then you want to do it upside down, and you can round brush it too!

i just got a scene cut except my hair is shoulder lenght but yeah.

scene hair doesnt always have much of a cut to it. sometimes a few layers. so you can ask for that and maybe give a picture. but its all in the styling.

i'm going to make a youtube vid on how i style my hair, ill send it to you when i make it. but for now look at this one and give it a try. the style will work with your non layered haircut that you have now but layers create more flare and emphasis at the top. but yeah so try these and see what it looks like.

if you dont have a comb just try it with a brush.

products i use: got2b glued hairspray [6dollars, any spray will work though], a regular comb, a straightener (you must straighten your hair for it to come out best) and vo5 shine hair spray [4 dollars]

Pass this stage before you turn out like a complete idiot. Scene is stupid, and the kids already "in the scene" aren't going to take you seriously. Heck, if you lived here and wanted to be a scene girl, you wouldn't take a step outside without being laughed at.

Anyway, I think something like this would suit you well;

Easy to style.

Get your fringe, part it to one side of you face. Use 2 bobby pins, put one on a diagonal and the other bobby pin next to it and putting it up the way. To form a X (cross).

Or just pin it, so the hair doesn't flip on your face.

Straighten as per usual.

Maybe do a little bit if backcombing, then comb over it. And give it a good hair spraying.

You could apply a good styling gel/wax to give your hair the messy/stringy look.

Or maybe something like this;

Straighten as you normally would.

Back comb the top your head. Spray with hairspray.

With the spikey bits at the top, straighten your hair UP! So its like your pulling it off your head, heh.

Apply some strong gel and hairspray.
