im half black, so i have black hair, ive never fit the black stereotype though, ive always been into indie rock, and wearing band t-shirts, i usually just straighten my hair, and i can get it really straight, but im ready for cool scene hair, i want to keep my brown haircolor, but i want some crazy highlights or something, but i have no clue what to get..... what should i do to my hair???

Before you pick any colors you have to make sure that they go with your skin tone... every skin tone has a season, and if you go against it you will look either washed out or crazy glow-y, and you don't want that.

You'd probably look good with chunky, reddish highlights - but without seeing your skin, I can't tell you for sure. Anyway, check out that article - it'll help.

Or you could always bleach the parts that you want colored...and then put any color you want on it...the only way to get dark hair to pink, blue, purple...or any other color is to bleach first, so I would go with the clip ins...so you don't damage your hair.

well what I would do is go on Photobucket and look up "scene hair" or something like that, then add like, maybe 5 or 10 of you faveorite into your album, then look at the hair STYLE first and see what would look best for your face type and possibly ask some friends or family to see what they think. then after you find the style you want then think about what color streaks you want, i would go for black or dark purple.
