hey gurlie!

okay i have what you would call a scene haircut too...

in my opinion the best things to do are a number of things.

first when you get out of the shower....blow dry your hair upside down...and then make sure that you tease it alot....like hold up those short layers at the back of your head and take a comb to them...brushing fastly in a down direction towards your head...

dont forget to put some sorts of products in it...such as hairspray or any hair glues you might use.

i dont know if you have naturally straight or curly hair but a straightener would be a good thing to invest in because it helps with the poof thing...if you take the short layers and straighten them pulling them up and towards your face like bangs...it helps to pin the hair in that direction.

the object of a scene hair cut is that everythign is straight and down except for the 'poof' at the crown of the head...so ameks ure everything is straight and down and then use your hands to poof the crap out of those layers....i wish i could tell you that they will stay 'poofed' for however long you wanted them too but thats just not the case...they recquire several poofings done with hands throughout the day....

:)

okay hope i helped!

go out and strut that scene haircut girl!!!!

use mousse

get a poufier haircut

tease it with a comb and then hairspray it

you need to tease it and use hairspray.

you tease hair by grabbing a layer f hair and running your brush through it , then back up then back down. that will poof up your hair and add some hair spray then repeat.

ok so you have to comb it the opposite way, take a peice of hair and comb it from the middle to the root.

1.use a brush or any really i use the ones with the rat tail

2.hairspray

tease ur hair from the tip from ur scalp and spray hairspray

if udnt like it or if its small tease it back and fourh, tease it from the part where no one can see it and spray hairspray do tghe same for the back

there really is only one option that works effectively.

backcomb.

get a fine toothed comb and place it at the end of your hair, holding the ends of your hair(hold hair up into the air) push the comb towards your head after doing this with your layers this will make your hair big and 'poofy'.

be aware, if you do this often (everyday without a break) your hair will become split very quickly %26amp; easily.

another option;

you can also use straighteners to make a slight bend in your hair which will make it stand up more.

you can use hairspray to make it stand up by crunching your hair in your hands and spraying hairspray to the under.

sorry it is long but hope i helped (:

Put in pomade, hairspray it all, backcomb/tease, then hairspray again.

I'd recommend Got2B brand hairspray and pomade.
