Scene hair - is this a good picture to take to the salon?

I want to get a scene haircut and I was wondering if this would be a good picture to take to the salon:

That is, would they be able to cut my hair that way by looking at this? If not, could someone give me a link to a site with good pictures or tell me what to ask for?

And don't tell me to 'be myself' I'm not trying to follow a trend, and that answer really doesn't help. -.-;;

That would be a good picture. Your stylist (if it's a good one) will be able to give you something like that. You might not be able to have identical hair, it depends on your texture, but your stylist should be able to work with that picture and find something that works best on you.

Absolutely. That picture is perfect.

Remember the picture will not resemble your hair 100% in the end because you and this person most likely do not have the same exact hair style and hair type and thickness, etc.
